The Story

When I was a kid, my family didn't have a VW Camper bus; we just weren't that cool. But we did have family friends whose patriarch surfed, played the banjo, rebuilt vintage motorcycles — and yeah, they had one. So, we borrowed theirs for one epic camping trip and I have vivid memories of sleeping in the pop-up roof tent gazing at the stars. I also remember the van had these mesh stash pouches everywhere, the back of the seats, on the doors, in the cabinets, etc. 

With all this in mind, Ostroy created the Camper Cargo Bib Shorts. Care

  • Wash whites and dark colors separately in cold water.
  • Wash inside out and zipped up.
  • Do not tumble dry. Hang and dry instead.

RideUpGrades.org seeks to bridge both the transportation and health divide in low-income communities through cycling. We break down the barrier to entry for teenagers and families to start commuting by bike and participating in the sport of road cycling. Through free group rides, road cycling instruction, and a road racing youth scholarship we aim to turn the sedentary into cyclists, and commuters into competitors. 

Getting Kids on Bikes

iChallengeMyself is a school-based cycling program that gets kids on bikes. The program introduces young people to endurance sports, nutrition, and dedication to a training program. 

Since their launch in February 2005, they have directly served over 2,500 public middle school and high school students ages 11–19 in the Bronx and Manhattan. I Challenge Myself is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
