The name "Monarch" comes from this butterfly's regal appearance, as the butterfly is often seen as a symbol of endurance and transformation. The pattern evolved to both attract mates and warn predators of the dire consequences of tangling with this beautiful creature

Seven years ago, Ostroy created the resort shirt, the first button-down collared shirt made from top-tier Italian fabric, with the breathability of a modern cycling jersey and original hand-painted designs. RideUpGrades.org seeks to bridge both the transportation and health divide in low-income communities through cycling. We break down the barrier to entry for teenagers and families to start commuting by bike and participating in the sport of road cycling. Through free group rides, road cycling instruction, and a road racing youth scholarship we aim to turn the sedentary into cyclists, and commuters into competitors. 

Getting Kids on Bikes

iChallengeMyself is a school-based cycling program that gets kids on bikes. The program introduces young people to endurance sports, nutrition, and dedication to a training program. 

Since their launch in February 2005, they have directly served over 2,500 public middle school and high school students ages 11–19 in the Bronx and Manhattan. I Challenge Myself is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
